Service Engineer

You will be responsible for providing warranty and post-warranty service for the equipment we manufacture. We are currently looking for a Service Engineer to join our team.

At LASCAM systems, we specialize in the development, manufacturing, and delivery of custom automated solutions focused on laser processing of metals and plastics, as well as optical systems.

We work with leading industrial companies not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also internationally. Our expertise lies in the development of laser applications and their implementation into manufacturing processes. To integrate these laser systems, we design and build our own advanced machinery that meets the highest technical standards while fulfilling each customer’s individual requirements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide warranty and post-warranty service for equipment manufactured by LASCAM systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to automated machinery
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment
  • After training, service unique optical and laser components
  • Analyse reported issues and provide technical support remotely or on-site at customer locations
  • Work closely with the implementation team during the commissioning and handover of new equipment
  • Provide technical support to existing and new customers across the Czech Republic within your assigned customer portfolio

What we’re looking for:

  • Secondary or university education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a basic knowledge of electrical engineering, along with experience in service and maintenance
  • Valid electrical certification in accordance with Czech legislation (formerly Decree No. 50/1978 or Section 6 of Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Valid Category B driving licence (active driver); experience driving vans up to 3.5 tonnes is an advantage
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation
  • Knowledge of laser technologies is not required—we will provide full training
  • English proficiency at B1 level
