Electrical Engineer – Laser Technologies

At LASCAM systems, we specialize in the development, manufacturing, and delivery of custom automated solutions focused on laser processing of metals and plastics, as well as optical systems.

We work with leading industrial companies not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also internationally. Your responsibilities:

  • Perform practical testing of laser technologies in our in-house laboratory and at partner sites across the Czech Republic
  • Provide electrical engineering support during automation projects at LASCAM systems and customer locations
  • Participate in research, development, and innovation projects involving laser technologies
  • Install, commission, and fine-tune laser systems at LASCAM systems and customer sites
  • Assist with the implementation of designed laser configurations within LASCAM systems

What we’re looking for:

  • Electrical engineering qualification with a valid electrical certification (formerly Decree No. 50/1978, Section 5; Section 6 is an advantage and can be obtained during employment)
  • Basic knowledge of industrial applications and automation
  • Ability to wire and assemble systems according to technical documentation
  • Systematic approach to work with a strong focus on quality
  • Ability to communicate and share technical information throughout all stages of a project
  • Technical communication skills in English
  • Valid Category B driving licence
  • Willingness to travel within the Czech Republic
  • Experience with laser technologies is a significant advantage but not required. We will provide comprehensive training, allowing you to work with a wide range of modern laser applications.
